Why Kakobuy, and when it is the wrong pick

An honest version of this page has three parts: the things every agent gives you, the things this one measurably does differently, and the orders where you should go elsewhere. Most sites only write the middle part.

What is Kakobuy, exactly?

Kakobuy is a shopping agent: it acts on your behalf at the seller, receives the goods at its warehouse, inspects and stores them, and freights them to you when you say so. Its about page describes the full chain as purchasing, forwarding, quality inspection, customs clearance, declaration and after-sales, with international logistics provided by third-party carriers. Any agent you compare it with offers roughly this same chain; the differences live in the fees, the storage clock and the inspection defaults.

Why Kakobuy, specifically

Three published positions stand out. First, the agent fee: the help center states the purchasing service itself is free, no handling fee on top of item cost and shipping, but parcel, funding and selected service charges remain. The two differently named CNY 8 references are unresolved; use the itemised checkout rather than summing them. Second, the storage clock: the help center commits to one hundred days of free storage for normal packages, counted from the day an item reaches stored status, while abnormal packages have a separate 60-day period from Signed for. Do not rely on receiving a reminder: check the account deadline and arrange any eligible extension before it expires. Third, inspection by default: arriving goods get an appearance check and photos without a per-item inspection fee, within the scope limits the QC guide spells out. Those are operator commitments on dated pages, not our measurements, and each one is the kind of term you can hold a support chat to.

Freight offers are another part of the published service, but an offer is useful only when your parcel qualifies. Use the coupon conditions to compare total costs. This is not evidence that Kakobuy has lower prices or more useful coupons than every competing agent.

Where the published terms disagree with each other

The retained 10 October 2026 promotional page describes up to 180 days of storage, while the help policy states 100 free days for normal orders from in-storage status. Use the policy with its start event and conditions, and confirm the deadline shown on the actual order. Promotional sign-up badges also conflict with the dated announcement; current account coupons establish what can be used. A headline alone is not a service guarantee.

When you should use someone else

For one inexpensive item, compare a direct international purchase against the entire agent order: seller postage, funding, parcel minimums and freight can change the result. For authentication or functional testing, an appearance-level QC check may not meet your need.
